Harmony Orchestras Course
structures in the center of Loir&Cher

In order to be as close as possible to the artistic life of the musical societies of Loir-et-Cher, Accords Center - Val de Loire offers a model of harmony orchestra with variable geometry articulated, for this 3rd edition, around the harmonies of center of the Loir-et-Cher department.

 

This new mode of operation aims to allow concert band musicians, of all ages and backgrounds, to participate in a common project within a complete orchestra.

 

The program will be determined according to the nomenclature of the orchestra and will include two original pieces for full orchestra to which will be added some very affordable pieces which will make up a concert of approximately 1h30.

 

The orchestra will meet over 4 working weekends.

Prerequisites:

  • Practice in a concert band or be a great student at a local music school.

  • Presence desired over the 4 weekends, with a minimum of 6 rehearsals and the last full weekend.

 

Free participation (all costs are the responsibility of Accords CVL)

Rehearsals: Saturdays 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Inscriptions
Identification of a referent per orchestra (priority the conductor, etc.). Communicate the email of your conductor or referent as soon as possible

A flyer summarizing the process and including a registration form will be sent by email
to the conductors/referents of the orchestras who will transmit it to their musicians.

Registration of interested musicians using the form above, each musician returns their registration form by September 6, 2021.

Transmission of registrations by managers/referents using an online form, access to which will be given to the referents who will complete it
with the information contained in each registration form by September 14.

The scores
When Claude Kesmaecker has decided on the programming (based on the nomenclature of the orchestra), he will communicate the original scores to Vincent Riès. These will be transferred in PDF by email to the conductors of the orchestras by Vincent Riès or available on an online library.

The repetitions
It is planned that the rehearsals will take place in the rehearsal room of the Harmonie de Blois
on the 1st floor of the premises of the Conservatoire de Bois/Agglopolys.

The concert
The concert will take place at the Salle de la Poissonnière in Saint-Gervais-La-Forêt and will be coordinated by the Églantine of Saint-Gervais-La-Forêt.

Concert advertising
Accords CVL composes the concert poster and sends it by email to the orchestras.
Each orchestra is responsible for transmitting it to its network and/or photocopying it and distributing it within its territory if necessary. In order to promote the concert as much as possible, a Facebook event, of which each band will be co-organizer, will be created.
